Now that the frenetic energy of gearing up for back-to-school is passed, my boys and I are now settling into our new routines. The temperature is starting to turn cooler, and the rain is coming (I’m in the Seattle area).

Honestly, I find it kind of difficult to focus in August. My brain is still in summer mode and the kids are still home from school. We’re getting school supplies ready but I don’t have the rhythm yet.

Now I’m settled in and ready to look at wrapping up Q3 and see what I’m willing to do (and NOT do) in Q4 (so full of holidays).

Next week is one of those rare moments when everything lines up perfectly for a reset:

• We’re wrapping up Q3. Time to close loops and clear clutter.
• The new moon arrives on Sunday. New moons are perfect for fresh beginnings.
• The autumn equinox is this weekend. Day and night are in balance, with an invitation to bring balance back into your business too.

It’s a bit of a push, but I really feel strongly I need to help others take advantage of this timing. I’ve decided the best way to do that is to run an Organize My Digital Files Get It Done Week next week, September 22 - 26.

In just 15 minutes per day for 5 days, you’ll:

• Day 1: Create your content map
• Day 2: Find and measure your files and drives
• Day 3: Do a high-level audit (using AI if possible)
• Day 4: Revisit and refine your content map
• Day 5: Create your project plan

Important: we won’t be moving files during the week. Instead, you’ll leave with a clear plan so you can move them on your schedule—and head into Q4 (and 2026 planning!) already organized.
