Honoring winter's pause (and organizing gently) - Link to your purchase(s)

Hi Reader,

There’s something special about January. I love the lights and the cheer of the holiday season but I also like the way everything thing feels cleaner and simpler after all the decorations are taken down and put away. It’s a quiet breath and time to pause, just like nature.

If you're feeling a little slower right now, that's not a problem to fix — it's a season to respect.

Winter is nature's pause. Roots grow underground. The soil is rejuvenating, getting ready for seeds in the spring (though bulbs got planted last fall). This is the time to review, reflect, and gently prepare — not overhaul your entire life.

That's why this season is actually perfect for reviewing and sorting.

If you've bought any of my resources before, like Organize Your Digital Purchases, Organize Your Digital Files, or Work Shutdown Ritual, this is a great moment to revisit them without pressure or urgency.

This is especially a great time to catch up on digital purchases you may have made during Black Friday and are just now getting to.

You can log in to everything you've purchased here:

(There's a password reset option if you've forgotten your login.)

Even 10–15 minutes of gentle organizing now is like planting a seed for spring.

I’m doing my own pausing and planning, and I have a small favor to ask.

I'm doing some market research for a new service I'm planning to offer in the next few months, and your input would be incredibly helpful.

I've put together a short survey to better understand what you need and what would actually support you.

It's quick, thoughtful, and will directly shape what I build next.

Thank you for being here — and for honoring this slower season with me.

Warmly,
Allie

Hi Reader, Have you ever felt behind, but then when you check the facts, it's not as bad as you feared? I think sometimes my mind likes to be a bit dramatic. I've been feeling super horrible and guilty about not emailing you since winter. But then I checked my broadcasts: once in January, three times in March (hello if you joined from Adrienne's Go To Summit!), once in April, twice in May. Not the weekly email I'm aiming for, but far from going completely dark. The end of the school year has...

Hi Reader, Something I've been considering lately....If you had to disappear for a week, what would happen to your business? Would everything fall apart? Would your team know what to do? If so, that's not a staffing problem. That's a systems problem. (And most business owners I talk to give some version of that same answer -- even the ones who have been at this for years.) Here's what's actually going on in many businesses, and maybe yours: all the knowledge lives in your head. Where things...

Hi Reader, Can you believe it's already April? I'm so happy spring is here. I started thinking about my Q2 around the Spring Equinox, and now it's already upon us. But here's the thing: four days into a new quarter is not too late to plan it. It's never too late to plan this week, this month, or this quarter, no matter how far in you are. Vision without action is just dreaming. Action without vision is just busy work. You need both. So let's do this together. Step 1: Celebrate your Q1 wins...
