Master Your Minutes Bundle ($9 upgrade!), How to find 8 hours a week (and what to do with those hours), and August (and September) updates

Hello, Reader, and happy August!

Italy was great. I spent the time with two host families in Tuscany (near Florence and Siena, a bit north of Rome) and even got a brief overnight layover in Dublin on the way home. I love the culture and the connections I made while I was there. It was nice to get away for a few weeks and I’m excited to start helping people again.

Email TL;DR Summary

  • While I was gone, I went through a free CEO Week challenge by Holly Haynes (not an affiliate link) and these tips might help you find time for your business (or organizing your files).
  • Look-ahead plans coming your way in August (update my course) and September (email sequence bonus, starting a new community).
  • This month I’m a part of the Master Your Minutes bundle (affiliate link) hosted by Crystal Berg of Unicorn Mojo. For the $9 Power Up Pack, you get upgraded to my course ($30 to upgrade on my website) AND you get the paid offerings of all the other amazing people in the bundle. This is the first time I’ve offered my course in a bundle! I’m about to update my course so this is a great opportunity to take advantage of! (Can you tell I’m excited, haha?)

How to find 8 hours per week (and what to do with those hours)

Last month, I followed a free CEO week challenge by Holly Haynes and I learned a ton that I think you might find interesting as well.

(Link to her free 5-day challenge if you want to do it yourself https://www.hollymariehaynes.com/ceoweek andhttps://www.hollymariehaynes.com/ [general website with all her paid and free offers]. Not affiliate links, just trying to be helpful.)

Basically, the way she finds 8 hours per week to work on her business is that she schedules business hours for herself.

  • 1 hour a week for planning (usually Sunday).
  • 1 hour of intentional time per day for 5 days of the week (usually Mon - Fri).
    • Her themes are Content Day, Community Day, Client Care Day, Biz Systems Day, and CEO Day.
    • Sometimes the themes are set aside to make progress on a specific project.
  • 2 hours for content creation for the last day (usually Saturday).

What I learned from this that applies to organizing my files or working on my business in general is that sometimes I take an all-or-nothing approach. I try to do the entire thing in one go, which I can’t do, and so it never gets done.

But I can be amazingly successful if I break what I need to do into bite-size steps, set aside even 30 minutes at a time, have a theme to tie the tasks together, give myself time to plan and check in on myself, and STAY CONSISTENT (my biggest hurdle).

To help you get your files organized (a task that can be daunting) and STAY organized, I’m going to apply what I learned into my instructions helping you in my course. Stay tuned!

What to look for in August

Alright, wish me luck. So far, 2024 has been the year of derailed plans. But every day is a new day and every month is a new month. I’m learning new things and getting 1% better every day (thanks to James Clear and Atomic Habits). So I’m publicly stating to you what my goals are and then I’ll check in every week with how I’m doing.

My course is in the Master Your Minutes bundle (more on that below) but it’s in pretty bare bones condition. My goal this month is to get this up to a minimum level, making sure all the written content from the ebook is present and adding a few videos, tutorials, and other resources to each module to make the upgrade from ebook to course worth it.

Aug 4 - 10 Update module 1 of the course (Find and inventory)

Aug 11 - 17 Update module 2 of the course (Brainstorm and Build)

Aug 18 - 24 Update module 3 of the course (Plan and Migrate)

Aug 25 - 31 Update module 4 of the course (Maintain and Move Forward)

Ideas for September

Looking ahead even farther, here are some ideas I’m thinking about for next month

Add a free email component of my process where you receive one email per week for four weeks with the content and action items for each step in my process.

Getting the content directly in your inbox will help everyone like me who purchases things like e-books or courses but never finishes them.

This will be a bonus of the ebook and the course.

Digital Organization Community. The results of my poll last month were Facebook Group (35%), Heartbeat (21%), Slack / Skool / Other (14%). Thank you so much for answering my questions! A big thank you as well if you were one of the people who replied to my email with your thoughts directly. It makes a big difference to me.

I’m still resistant to FB, but it’s nice that it’s free and other people can find us. Heartbeat and Skool are distraction-free but some people find it out of sight, out of mind and a cost to me (unless I charge for my community). I still haven’t made a decision. I’ll keep you updated!

This is a place where I’ll go live two (maybe four?) times per month to answer your questions directly.

It’ll give you and I a way to work together indirectly in a group situation.

This might be free, it might be paid, it might be included as a bonus of the course only but paid for everyone else, I haven’t decided yet. Ideas and feedback welcome!

Prep for Q4, wrap up the year, and look ahead for 2025. This is more of what I’m planning for October, November, and December but I’ll be starting to think about these topics in September.

I want to research lots of methods and ideas for bundling up your 2024 files and getting them ready to store, as well as how to set up your digital files for 2025.

Unicorn Mojo Master Your Minutes Bundle - Why you should upgrade!!!

For the month of August, I’m in the Master Your Minutes bundle hosted by Crystal Berg of Unicorn Mojo.

Hear me out…You’ve probably gotten on my list because of this bundle (or a previous bundle I was in earlier this year).

BUT!!!!!! This is the first time I’ve offered the course as the upgraded offer!!! As of this email, only 13 people are signed up for my course out of a total of 703 people who have gotten one of my products (free or paid).

My free offer has been the same (Work Shutdown Ritual) but before the offer was the Organize Your Digital Files ebook, NOT course.

On my website, the ebook is $17 and the course is $47. (Difference $30)

The bundle upgrade is only $9.

And not only for $9 do you upgrade to the course instead of ebook, you also get all the other paid offers from all the other bundle contributors: Anne Rajoo, Justine Bevilacqua, Kim Galloway, Lindsay Dollinger, Sage Grayson (!), Seema Pateel, and Crystal herself.

AND you’re eligible to enter a drawing for one of 8 gifts.

AND you’ll have access to the course as I’m making upgrades (and raising the price).

This is a really great deal with a lot of value that I think you’ll be grateful you took advantage of.

Wrapping Up

I hope your summer is going well and you’ve had time to relax, be with family, go on vacation, and enjoy the sunshine (hopefully it’s not too hot).

As always, I love to hear from you and will always reply. What are you up to these days? What’s going on in your world? Got any questions I can help with?

Take care and stay cool,

Allie
